■ summer ■ starts ■ now ■

Headband: Dolls Kill - Top: H&M -Skirt: American Apparel - Shoes: H&M

After being extremely busy these last few weeks - with YouTube and a multitude of real life things - the biggest part of what I had to do is done now.
That means I can focus at least a little bit more on YouTube and more importantly I can finally relax a little. Let me tell you that is so badly needed.
That also means I can finally start my summer. And no hay fever will stop me from enjoying my hours of sunshine and summer fun!

Yesterday it was warm enough for the first time for me to go outside without any tights! Yas! Sun on skin is such a nice sensation, I feel like I've been inside forever. To be honest that's probably even kind of true.

Time management is pretty complicated trying to fit everything I *must* do into my limited 24 hours and then also produce a couple of gaming videos for YouTube. It's not only complicated but also hella exhausting.
(Did someone say sleep? I need some of that shit! You got any?)

I'm seriously hoping to make YouTube my financially-possible fulltime job by the end of this year.

But for now I'll take a couple of days to chill and recharge my batteries (I hate that saying).
Of course there will still be daily videos but Bubbls needs some fun times!

Outfit Of The Day 15/05/16 - Sunday Funday

Top: H&M - Jeans: Primark - Sneakers: Voile Blanche

Usually it's all work and no play for poor little Viktoria. Even though I am not actually complaining.

So today we decided to grab the dog and take a nice long walk.
I'm not saying I just suggested a walk because I wanted to play with the crane machines at the arcade. I'm also not saying that the arcade wasn't the reason. Just, hush.

And since finally the sun came out a little bit I decided to wear the first crop top this year! (Yes, I did freeze but that's only because I'm kind of an icicle all year round except for in extreme heat.)

I wanted something casual and comfy, streetstyle like. So jeans and a black top were the perfect choice for me. And let me tell you, walking in these shoes feels like walking on little goth clouds with golden sprinkles on top. I'm super obsessed with these sneakers. To be honest I am obsessed with almost all golden shoes.

French maid or english maid? - New set of pictures & new signed prints coming soon!

Yes, I know that was the most uncreative title I could think of. Ever.
And yes, I know I've been gone for a little while. For like, forever.
I had a bunch of stuff to take care of in my private life. Luckily all amazing and happy stuff.

Now I am back to the grind - werk werk werk as I am supposed to say I guess following the trend?! - with a little sneak peek at a newphoto set that will be released soon! Even including some cool signed prints for you guys.

There will be bewbs and NSFW stuffs (not too NSFW though) and lingerie and maid things and did I mention bewbs?

Hope you're all as excited as I am! So stay tuned for more of the new set coming very very soon!

Capturing Darkness In Light

Can you see the light?

For this particular set of pictures playing with light was the main focus. I like this shot simply because it captures a transition from dark to light.
So for today I am not going to write a whole lot of text, just something semi-philosophical (Meh, how terrible and boring...I know!):

Everyone of us has a dark side as well as light aspects to their character.
What we choose to show to others is very individual and people love showing just what they think they need to manipulate others.

Just because someone shows you their nice and light side, doesn't mean they are necessarily a genuinely nice person.
And seeing someone's dark side doesn't mean they are a truly bad person either.
Judging quickly is incredibly easy. Depending on the situation you might want to give people the benefit of the doubt.

My Spring 2016 Aesthetics

(Top, leggings & shoes from H&M, choker from Dolls Kill)

My teenage self is squealing with joy.

After wearing mostly vintage fashion and pin-up inspired clothing for almost two years for both my photo shoots and in my free time, I felt it was time for a change. Or well, a change back. Going full circle so to speak.

In my teenage years I was an ambitious follower of gothic and "emo" fashion styles mixed with a bit of punk. Anything dark or alternative, you can be sure that I would love it.

Here you have an awkward, alternative teen picture of me. Shot with a terrible digital camera. Ugh.

I would like to think that - hopefully - my fashion sense has evolved in the past few years and even more so my make-up skills with it. Because, let's face it: I thought eye-liner was all you need. (Conclusion after going through old pictures: I was definitely wrong.)

So, lately I found myself being drawn to alternative fashion styles once more. Back in the day hunting for gothic-inspired clothing was a whole lot more difficult and often a lot more expensive.
With - more or less mildly - alternative fashion becoming a wider known and accepted trend in the last years you can often find a couple of nice pieces of clothing at big stores like H&M, Forever 21 or Primark, even if you're on a budget. For me in the end it all comes down to how you combine things in your own style, it's not about how much they cost.

A website I have recently fallen in love with is Dolls Kill. Surely everybody who likes a different sort of clothing already knows this site, but hey! I have a few years of alternative fashion to catch up on! While I absolutely love almost everything in their store, my wallet really, really hates it.
One specific brand I've had an eye on lately is Killstar. Their fashion -  while still being alternative and featuring a huge amount of really cool prints and patterns - seems also pretty wearable for everyday purposes.

Bottom line is: Spring is coming and while everybody will be dressed in pastel colours, I will go back to black. Once more.

I like farming games?! Or: How I got addicted to Stardew Valley

Games like Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing never appealed to me. My old Nintendo DS had the honours of trying out both games for a few hours and for some reason they never managed to keep my attention. I was always more of a horror and fps kind of girl.

A couple of days ago my fiancé suggested Stardew Valley - basically a mixture of Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing - to me. My initial reaction was a rather uninterested "meh". But then, I started up the game and that was it. Bye-bye free time.
Since then, any minute I can spare is being invested in Stardew Valley. I absolutely love this game.
Let me give you a few reasons why you might love it as well!

Stardew Valley was developed by a single person and - oh boy - did he do a good job! The game is so in depth that I didn't even expect it.

Apart from obviously taking care of your land by doing things like tilling the soil, spreading around the - home made - fertilizer, sowing seeds and harvesting the sweet, sweet fruits and vegetables when they have grown, there is so much more to do.

You can add buildings to your farm so you can house chickens and ducks for eggs (Hello, mayonnaise!), cows and goats for milk (Yum, cheese!) pigs for finding truffles (How luxurious!) and rabbits and sheep for wool (Nice, warm and soft fabric for the next fashion week!).
Obviously you have to get all materials like wood, stone and ores for buildings yourself, duh! That might sound boring, but it really isn't. For some reason chopping down trees and hacking away at stones doesn't feel like a chore, but utterly satisfying when you hear the nice chopping sounds and then see all the items drop.

The mines don't only offer the chance to get stone, ores, valuable gemstones and rare item drops needed to craft items, but also offer the chance to fight little but ferocious critters like slime monsters!

If you like, you can build up friendships with the other village inhabitants or even find a boyfriend/girlfriend to move in with you and later even have children, simply by finding out what they like and giving them gifts according to their own taste. It's nice to see that same gender relationships are possible as well.

Then of course, you have the task to rebuild the abandoned Community Center by giving donations to the forest sprites. Hell, you can even go fishing if you want to pass time or foraging around town for free items to use or sell.

I am sure I have forgotten a bunch of awesome features of Stardew Valley (Did I mention you can get a dog or cat?! To love you forever??!?!!).

But I think you get my point:
Even if you are usually not into this kind of game, it's worth giving Stardew Valley a chance.

Believe me, it even changed my own mind and has now developed into what seems to quickly become one of my most favourite games of all time.
